State Analytical Reporting System (STARS)

Description

The Office of Policy and Management's (OPM) STARS is a comprehensive statewide reporting application designed to enhance analytical and reporting capabilities for human resources and financial management. This reporting tool seeks to elevate decision-making processes by integrating results-based accountability and key performance indicators into the biennial budget cycle. STARS is envisioned to function as the primary statewide data repository for both human resources and financial data, seamlessly incorporating external data sources.

STARS operates as a robust analytical reporting tool, presenting data through report formats and interactive dashboards. This system empowers the state with advanced reporting capabilities, thereby enhancing decision-making processes.
